  fixed voltage regulator (positive) IL78LXX 3-terminal 0.1a positive voltage regulators t h is series of fix ed-voltage monolithic integrated-circuit to - 92 voltage regulators is designed for a w i de range of applications. t hese applications include on-card regulation for elimination of noise and dist ribution problems associated w i th single-point regulation. in addition, they can be used w i th pow er-pass elements to make high current voltage regulators. each of these regulators c an deliver up to 100ma output current. t he internal limiting and the rmal shutdow n features of these regulators make them e ssentially immune to overload. when used as a replacement for a zener diode-resistor com- bination, an effective impr ovement in output impedance can be obtained together w i th low e r-bias current. so - 8 features output current up to 100ma no ex ternal components internal t hermal overload protection internal short-circuit limiting output voltage of 5v, 6v, 8v, 9v, 10v, 12v, 15v, 18v and 24v absolute max i mum ratings characteristic sy mbol value unit il78l05 ~ il78l10 30 il78l12 ~ il78l18 35 input voltage il78l24 vl 40 v operating junction temperature topr -40 ~ +150 storage temperature ts tg -65 ~ +150 soldering temperature and time ts ol 260/10sec 1
